EDEN + Contractor Commerce
Frequently Asked Questions for EDEN Customers
You've invested in giving homeowners a way to see prices and buy from you online — and that investment is safe. EDEN customers are being welcomed into the Contractor Commerce family, and our job is to make this transition easy for you and invisible to your customers. Here are answers to the questions we hear most. If you don't see yours, reach out anytime — real people answer.
The Announcement
What was announced?
EDEN and Contractor Commerce have teamed up to make sure every EDEN customer keeps a great online quoting and ecommerce experience, without interruption. Contractor Commerce provides the industry-leading online quoting and ecommerce platform for the trades, and we're welcoming EDEN customers with a guided, hands-on transition.
What does this mean for my business?
Three things. First, nothing breaks: your instant quote experience keeps running today. Second, you keep your pricing: the core functionality you use now continues at your current price for a year. Third, you gain room to grow: when you're ready, the same platform can sell more of what you do — more trades, more services, more ways for homeowners to buy from you.
Your Service Today
Will my EDEN Instant Quote keep working?
Yes. Your current EDEN Instant Quote will continue to operate through September 30, 2026. Nothing changes on your website today, and there will be no interruption to the experience your homeowners see.
Do I need to do anything right now?
No immediate action is required. The Contractor Commerce & EDEN team will reach out to schedule a short introduction, show you what your setup will look like, and map out your transition on a timeline that works for your business.
What happens after September 30?
The EDEN Instant Quote tool will be retired on September 30, 2026. To make sure homeowners never lose the ability to price and buy from you online, we'll work with you to have your Contractor Commerce experience live before that date. Our team handles the heavy lifting.
Moving to Contractor Commerce
Will this feel like a whole new system I have to learn?
No. While Contractor Commerce has a lot of bells and whistles, you can start with a product that works very much like what you have today — homeowners get instant, transparent quotes with Good/Better/Best options.
The added benefit: it now lives directly on your website, under your brand, so every quote builds your business and your web presence.
What will it cost?
Your pricing won't go up because of this transition. There are a few different paths you can take with Contractor Commerce, but the core functionality you use today remains at your current price for a year. If you want to add more later, that's your call — we'll walk you through the options and you choose what fits.
What else can I do with Contractor Commerce if I want to?
This is where it gets fun. When you're ready, the same platform lets you sell across most other trade and home service categories — for example:
- Water heaters
- Generators
- Other home service categories — plumbing, electrical, indoor air quality, and more
- Services and products — tune-ups, memberships, filters, and repairs with 24/7 self-service checkout
None of it is required. Start with what you know, add categories when they make sense for your business.
How does the transition work?
It's a guided process, and we do the heavy lifting. After a short introduction call, our onboarding team will set up your experience, work with you to bring over your pricing and product configuration, and make sure everything is live and tested before EDEN's tools are retired. The EDEN team is working directly with us throughout, so nothing about your setup gets lost in translation.
Will homeowners notice a change?
Only for the better. Homeowners will get a modern, mobile-friendly buying experience right on your website — available nights and weekends, when most buying decisions actually happen. Same convenience they had, now fully under your brand.
People & Support
Will I still work with the EDEN team members I know?
Yes. Familiar faces from EDEN are working hand-in-hand with Contractor Commerce to make sure every customer is taken care of, and you'll see that continuity as you get set up. You'll also gain a dedicated Contractor Commerce customer success team — real people who do this every day.
Who do I contact with questions?
We've set up a dedicated team for EDEN customers: EDEN@contractorcommerce.com. Anything you send there goes straight to the team handling the transition. We'll also be reaching out to you proactively — but don't wait on us if you have questions.
What happens to my billing?
EDEN will stop future billing during the transition period to avoid overlapping charges or partial billing periods. Customers who prepaid annually will receive a prorated refund for any unused portion of their subscription. Contractor Commerce billing will begin once your new experience is live, with the core functionality you use today continuing at your current pricing for the first year.
